Last November, Ubisoft announced that it was working on improved version of Beyond Good & Evil, which we should have gotten details on sometime this year. More than six months of silence was finally broken late last week, when the French publisher published the premiere trailer, release date and other details.
First of all, it is worth noting the improved version called Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition. it will be released tomorrow, June 25th on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect) and consoles PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. While the game will only be available digitally for now, Ubisoft, in collaboration with publisher Limited Run Games, also plans to release a physical edition that will be available for pre-order starting July 12th.
Remastered from the original 2003 version of the game. boasts up to 4K resolution or 60 FPS support, which will be complemented by improved sounds, graphics and controls. Other new features include automatic saving, the ability to skip videos, or cross-save support across platforms.
