If you want more information about the sci-fi RPG title Exodusyou were just waiting. In a new video, former Mass Effect developers answer curious questions from fans and present their ambitious project in more detail.
One of the most interesting concepts in the game is working with time dilation, which will affect not only the plot, but also the world around us. The player’s main base will be futuristic city of Persepoliswhere your space adventures begin. But after returning from missions, everything may be different – after all time dilation years may pass as the city develops and residents age. The decisions you make during missions will have a direct impact on the development of Persepolis and its inhabitants.
Much attention will also be paid to the selection of crew members.. Some will remain in the city, while others will accompany you on a dangerous quest across the galaxy. The inspiration for the concept of the so-called Travelers (the main characters) were part of the Jedi mythology, but had nothing to do with the Jedi Council in Exodus. Travelers are independent heroes united by a common goal: save humanity from a mysterious threat. In the game, among other things, you will meet the aliens Mara Yama.
Archetype Entertainment recently revealed new concepts for the game’s environments and unveiled the first short gameplay footage. We’ll soon learn more about the character editor, which is designed to give players more freedom in creating their character.
Exodus is a role-playing game focused on… rich storyline and player choicewhich will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The exact release date has not yet been set, but the game is expected to be released in 2026.
