The smile scares again: Dark forces threaten the pop star in the horror sequel

The first part of the horror film “Usmev” became a worldwide phenomenon two years ago. That’s why creator Parker Finn is coming up with a new story in which one of the most innocent things in the world – the human smile – will once again reliably scare viewers.

Pop star Sky Riley (Naomi Scott) goes on tour to cement her status as one of the most successful singers of our time. However, she cannot enjoy her “fifteen minutes of fame” to the fullest, since at this critical moment in her life a series of very abrupt and incomprehensible events begin to happen one after another. Skye is a warrior who has already dealt with her dark past (or so she thinks) and is ready to fight the current threat. However, between heaven and earth there are terrifying forces that cannot be defeated, even if Skye is ready to do anything for it. He recognizes them by their inimitable sinister smile. However, at this point it may be too late to save.

“Even though the story loosely follows the principles used in the first film, I wouldn’t talk about a sequel if I had to repeat myself. There’s still a lot left to explore in the legend of Smile, and I can promise viewers a number of unexpected ideas that will entertain and scare them at the same time.” says director and screenwriter Parker Finn. His words are confirmed by the representative of one of the main roles, Lucas Gage, who said that for the first time in his life he was downright afraid of what was about to happen. “In addition, during one scene my stomach became very upset. You have something to look forward to.” the actor adds.
