Microsoft continues to enrich the series experience Age of Empires. This time the addition will be received by players of the remaster of the second part. They are served a big expansion focusing on the war between Greece and Persia.
Chronicles: Battle of Greece This is the start of a new series of story expansions with a huge campaign and big changes. The first package contains new innovative mechanics and even completely changes the visual component. It will be inspired by classical antiquity and will match the atmosphere of Greek battles.
The first chapter includes over a hundred years of history spread across 21 scenarios. You’ll experience the rampage of Persia during the Ionian Revolt, prepare to defend Greece during the Greco-Persian Wars, witness the dawn of democracy in the Golden Age of Athens, and prepare for the devastating challenges of the Peloponnesian War. You will witness famous battles including Marathon, Thermopylae and Salamis.
On this exciting journey you will meet legendary characters such as the fierce warrior queen Artemisia, the cunning strategist Themistocles and the valiant commander Brasidas. Each one comes to life with animated interludes featuring theme music and dubbing. Czech subtitles not confirmed.
You will be able to play as three new ancient civilizations: Athenians, Spartans and Achaemenians. These are accompanied by new graphical models, including 55 new land units, 19 new naval units and 85 new buildings. They won’t disappear either iconic ancient unitsfrom war chariots to hoplites and naval triremes. While we are working on this, naval combat will be redesigned using six types of warships. New opportunities for the collection and trade of raw materials at sea will continue to open up.
Attention will need to be paid to mutually exclusive technologies that will create strategic dilemmas. The DLC will be released on November 14th for €15 for PC and Xbox Series X/S. There is a 15% discount on it in advance. Main game Age of Empires 2: Complete Edition is part of the Game Pass subscription.
