Fallout 5 may release sooner than expected

The new part of the Fallout series may come out earlier than originally expected. Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s gaming division, hinted at this in an interview with IGN magazine. He had to talk to Bethesda’s Todd Howard about it. According to them, both are aware of significant successes from the recently released Amazon seriesrenewed interest in individual games from this famous post-apocalyptic series.

However, it should be noted that Bethesda is currently focusing specifically for the development of new The Elder Scrolls. Additionally, part of the team is still working on additional content for Starfield. Therefore, if Microsoft wanted to fully launch the development of a new Fallout in the foreseeable future, it would have to create a completely new team or turn to another studio. However, a spin-off or a smaller project that will shorten the wait for a full fifth part cannot be ruled out either. In any case, the potential of the entire brand is so great that it would be a shame to leave it idle for many years.
