The developers of Pathologic are working on Darkwood 2.
During yesterday’s ID@Xbox Showcase, a sequel to survival horror game Darkwood was announced. It may not have appealed to a particularly wide audience, but even so, this independent game from a small Polish studio
Players really liked Acid Wizard. The sequel to this game will be led this time by developers Ice-Pick Lodge (Pathologic), but Acid Wizard will continue to oversee development.
Darkwood 2 The story takes place just a few years after the events of the first volume. The game will have completely new characters and plot, so you don’t need to know the first part. This time the game takes place in the Aral Sea area. It has turned into a haunted forest that devours everything in its path. You will try to survive and look for raw materials in nearby abandoned villages or rusting ships. Of course, building a shelter will also be an important element, and then all you have to do is pray for the morning light to banish the horrors of this world.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the game’s release date yet. However, we do know that the game will be coming to PC, and if you’re interested, you can wishlist it on Steam. After this, the game should also be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC. If you haven’t played the first game yet, it’s currently 75% off on Steam for less than €4.
