On Monday, at the Ubisoft Forward event, we saw the publication of the first gameplay footage of the new part of the Assassin’s Creed series, subtitled Shadows. Now, interesting additional information is gradually coming to us from various sources. Game director Simon Lemay-Comtois, for example, revealed the size of the game world in an interview with VGC magazine. The developer specifically announced that the Assassin’s Creed: Shadows map will be large. comparable to Assassin’s Creed Origins from 2017, which took players to Ancient Egypt.
At the same time, this means that Shadows will offer a slightly smaller world than Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, released in 2020, and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, released two years older. Instead of the huge size of the game map, the authors try to interest the player, for example, in the changing seasons, changeable weather and day and night patterns. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will be released on November 12 on PC (Epic Game Store) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
