Microsoft has reportedly approved another game from the creators of Hellblade

British studio Ninja Theory will launch Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, a story-driven action adventure, today. Along with the launch of the new game, there was talk about the next game. According to Windows Central magazine sources, Microsoft, which owns the studio, was supposed to provide green next unspecified game. For now, we can only guess whether it will be another Hellblade or a completely new brand.

Besides this game, Ninja Theory is long overdue to develop a horror game. title with the working title Project Mara. But we haven’t heard anything about this game in a while, so it’s questionable whether it’s still in development. The teaser attached below was published by the studio four years ago. If rumors of greenlight for a new game are true, then the studio shouldn’t face significant layoffs or outright closures, as several Microsoft studios recently experienced, led by Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks.

However, Ninja Theory’s future will undoubtedly be impacted by the reception and sales of the upcoming game Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S.
