After three years of development, developers from the Brno studio Ashborne Games have released the real-time strategy game Last Train Home on computers. Especially in our country, the game attracts attention with its historical setting, which dedicated to the fate and journey of Czechoslovak legionnaires in Russia after the end of the First World War. Above in the preview, you can tune in to this journey via the release trailer attached above.
We talked about the game in detail in a classic text review, which we supplemented with a video review and a separate article summarizing several tips on the game. We also shared more details in the new episode of our Zing podcast. As a result, Last Train Home received 9/10 and the following verdict:
“A fantastic mixture of real-time strategy and survival in which you will be completely immersed in the role of the Czechoslovak legionnaires. Last Train Home tells an interesting story, offers fun gameplay and very good audiovisual visuals. The only drawbacks of the beauty are bugs and a few minor shortcomings that you can probably forgive. The rest is definitely worth it.”
At the moment the game is only available on PC (Steam, GOG). The price was set at 34 euros.
