During development star field the developers from Bethesda Game Studios made a bet on the freedom of the player and were ready to sacrifice some bugs and problems for it. But the result is excellent and shows that you have a lot of freedom not only when creating your hero / heroine, but also while building your own spaceship.
As testified by the players who entered this quest, you can easily build iconic spaceships. So there were ships on the Starfield Normandy SR-2 from Mass Effect, and even Star Wars fans will love to look at millennium falcon, X Wing And Y-wing.
