The noir first-person shooter with Mouse will have to wait a little longer. Fumi Games studio announced that it is postponing the game’s release MOUSE: PI for rent from the originally planned 2025 to early 2026.
Developers want to give themselves more time to fine-tune details and achieve the best gaming experience.. “We know many of you are waiting for the release date, which will be announced at the Galaxies Gaming Showcase on October 23rd, but before that we want to inform you that the premiere of MOUSE has been postponed. Your support means a lot to us, and this delay will help us achieve our goal of releasing a game we can all be proud of.” the developers said.
The name attracted attention with its unique style. The authors are inspired by cartoons of the 1930s.. Hand-animated rubber hose characters, a black-and-white aesthetic, and a retro-jazz soundtrack give the game a distinct atmosphere that’s virtually unheard of today.
He’s starring Detective Jack Peppera former war hero who tries to bring justice to the corrupt city of Mausburg. His latest case usually starts out as a “damsel in distress” but soon turns into a twisted tale of crime, murder and betrayal where no one is what they seem.
MOUSE: PI For Hire is in development for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.
