Sony was AMD’s biggest customer last year. The Japanese company bought from AMD chips worth about $3.776 billion.. It represents 16% of AMD’s full year revenue.

He also boasted of resolving supply issues with the console, which was limited in production due to a shortage of semiconductors. Microsoft also buys SoC (processor with graphics card) from AMD. By all accounts, the PS5 should have far outperformed the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in this regard. According to recent estimates analysts, a pair of “green” consoles has 18.5 million units.
