Over the weekend, we brought you news of a big event that has been speculated about for months. The first part of the legendary Halo series will receive a complete remake on a new engine. Check out the great comparison.
This was brought to you by the ElAnalistaDeBits channel, where they beautifully show all 3 versions of the first part of Halo. That is, the original for the first Xbox, then the remaster for the Xbox 360, which was later released in the Master Chief collection on Xbox One, and finally, the actual footage from the remake, completely buried in Unreal engine 5 and is scheduled for next year.
As you can see, the ravages of time have taken their toll on the first volume, and it looks better and better with each version. But the gameplay is still top-notch, and if you don’t want to wait for the remake, you can play it again in the already mentioned large collection. In addition, it allows you to seamlessly switch between original and enhanced graphics with one click and thus compare individual scenes. Perhaps the upcoming remake will offer something similar, but given the differences in the engines used, I wouldn’t bet on it.
