Developers from Obsidian Entertainment have announced a new edition of The Outer Worlds. An improved version of the popular 2019 RPG is called The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and will be released on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The current generation of consoles is the main reason for the release of the new version, since so far the native version for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S has not been available.
The Spacer’s Choice edition will offer more than the original version improved visuals (animation, environment, resolution) or increasing the maximum achievable level. The publication will also include the additions “Murder on Eridanos” and “Gorgon Peril”. Publication date was scheduled for March 7.
The authors have confirmed that owners of the original game and the two DLCs mentioned will be able to upgrade to the new version for 8 euros. You can watch the announcement trailer above in the preview.
