It’s no secret that acclaimed developer Hideo Kojima is currently preparing two new games at his Kojima Productions studio.. About half a year ago, Kojima mentioned in an interview with Famitsu magazine that he was preparing a big title and a new complex project. Actor Norman Reeduswho played the role of Sam in Death Stranding and who was also supposed to play in the canceled project Silent Hills Kojima and director Guillermo Del Toro were interviewed by Leo Edit. In one of the questions, the author of the interview summarized that Reedus has a book on his shirt, the last season of the Walking Dead series, the Walking Dead spin-off and work on the game Death Stranding. To which the charismatic actor replied that they had just started the second game.
However, other questions in the interview dealt with the past, specifically the motion capture process in the development of the original game, and the many times and well-known circumstances under which Reedus first met Kojima. unfortunately, the answer was not further developed. So the actor didn’t directly say that Death Stranding 2 is coming, just the second game.. So it could just be a misunderstanding, just like the second game that Hideo Kojima is preparing. Reedus seems to have gotten a lot closer to Kojima during the development of Death Strandingso it’s very likely that the famous developer will want to use the serial Daryl Dixon in everything he’s going to do.
Fans who still need to hum the BB theme at every opportunity, but they definitely have reason for attention. There’s been a long debate in the past about whether Death Stranding’s sales justified the need to look for a sequel, but while it certainly wasn’t a game for everyone, it’s by no means a failure. More important, Death Stranding is such a bizarre, relatively closed and self-contained experience that it must be very difficult to follow it meaningfully without it being a completely different title.. So let’s see how Kojima ends and if Norman Reedus was misunderstood.
