Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. announced the release of the first DLC for SWORD ART ONLINE Last memory“Ritual of Bonds Volume 1“, scheduled to release January 25th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC! In the first volume of Ritual of Bonds, players will join Kirito along with the legendary heroines of SWORD ART ONLINE – Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica, Sinon and many more – as they embark on a new adventure.
While exploring a dungeon that has suddenly appeared beneath the castle city of Obsidia, Kirito and his friends are faced with a new challenge that can only be passed in pairs. Experience the exciting journey of Kirito and his partner as they face the Ritual of Bond together in this new DLC.
Based on the War in the Underworld arc of the SWORD ART ONLINE anime, the new story begins with the difficult challenges that await Kirito and his new friends in SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection. In this release, you’ll be able to explore an original storyline as you follow Kirito and his friends as they meet the Black Knight and fight against the forces of the Black Territory.
The story tells what would have happened to Kirito if his ally Eugeo had not died tragically during the war. Experience an exciting and improved combat system with friends against familiar enemies from the SWORD ART ONLINE series!
