When Barry (Ezra Miller) uses his superpowers to travel through time and change past events, worlds collide. His attempt to save his family unexpectedly changes the future: now Barry is trapped in reality, where General Zod (Michael Shannon) has returned, threatening destruction, and there are no superheroes to turn to.
That is, unless Barry can pull a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue a captured Kryptonian… even if it’s not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world he finds himself in and return to the future he knows, Barry’s only hope is to run for his life. But will such a sacrifice be enough to restart the universe?
