It wouldn’t be the end of the year without Akshan’s old League of Legends bug, but this one certainly comes as a surprise. The problem with Heroic Swing is that the MOBA’s helper NPCs, the minions, return to the team’s own tower, where they besiege it instead of the enemy’s.
So let me try to break it down. Basically, when Akshan hooks himself into a wall but dies trying, he spawns a ubiquitous unkillable minion. This mischievous helper hides for the rest of the game, confusing other creeps, which, in the situation below, resulted in a large wave of friendly minions attacking the friendly tower.
While it happened in ranked play, others have noticed it in ARAM as well, which means it will no doubt show up in solo queue as well. Despite the vague amusement, I would like No I’ll be happy if this error appears in my ranked adventures.

Thankfully this is still in beta and will likely be removed in the next patch. Although, if it looks like a Neeko tower bug, we could see Akshan on the bench until Riot decides what exactly puts the key to work. Either way, the breakdown absolutely deserves an emergency repair.
Ashan’s Heroic Sweep received a buff in League of Legends patch 12.20, meaning he can now circle circular structures like turrets, inhibitors, and the Nexus itself indefinitely. While this could be a malicious shard, it seems more likely that the champion will change before Season 13, so who knows, maybe he’ll be nerfed this time around.
