As the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, casualties on both sides are mounting. One of the dead in recent days was 38-year-old Vladimir Yezhov, a developer at GSC Game World, who fell like his colleague Andrey Korzinkin in defense of his country. More precisely, near the city of Bakhmut, which is located on the front line of Donbass.
In the past, the author himself participated in the development of World of Battles: Morningstar, Call of Cthulhu and Sherlock Holmes: Devil’s Daughter or Stalker: Call of the Pripyat, where he will live forever thanks to Loki wearing his face. As for STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, it should still be released within the next year, but due to the current situation, which greatly complicates development, a release date has not yet been set.
Vladimir gave us so many games, so many universes… Players will always remember him.
Thank you Vladimir Our condolences to the family. Ukraine has lost another hero.
Heroes don’t die.
