Buying an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor could soon become a much more affordable endeavor, as the Red team prepares to release a batch of new processors at a lower price. Unsurprisingly, however, this cost reduction comes at the expense of performance, as these newer chips have lower clock speeds and TDPs.

Despite their less powerful specs, these new AMD Ryzen 7000 processors can be a great option for those looking for the best value for money gaming CPU. Also, their lower TDP should make them much easier to cool if you don’t want to install a custom AIO cooler or water cooling on your PC.

According to French retailer PC21 listings (via momomo_us). Although its overclocked clock speed is a striking distance from more powerful chips, the base clock speed is much lower.

It remains to be seen how much these processors will cost you, and how the lower clock speeds will affect frame rates in the best PC games. However, these AMD Ryzen 7000 processors are likely to still be quite powerful.
