Spoiler Night

For the first time, the event will feature more than 16 content partner companies, or Content Partners, which are streaming platforms and studios. Among them are Crunchyroll, Disney, Globoplay, HBO Max, Mauricio de Sousa Produções, Netflix, Paramount Pictures, Paramount+, Paris Filmes, Prime Video, Spotify and Universal. Viewers are in for an epic experience with over 260 panels, 220 hours of content, many of which are exclusive and unpublished, including movie and series premieres.

The event spans 115,000 m² and features over 70 booths scattered throughout the pavilion, featuring over 100 brands betting on activation, an Instagrammable environment and lots of interaction. As always, at the heart of the event is Chiaroschuro Studios Artists Valley, a space dedicated to artists from the world of comics, whether they are independent or established. This year, more than 500 professionals, national and international, inspire thousands of fans, showcase diversity and many stories.

CCXP was created in 2014 through the desire of the teams of Omelete, Iron Studios and Chiaroscuro Studios to bring to Brazil the experience of great international comics and pop culture conventions such as San Diego Comic-Con. Since its first launch, the goal of the event has been to create the ideal environment for Brazilian fans to meet and experience that will mark a lifetime. A passionate public that has been unable to show its love for the main stories of the world of nerds for so many years has attracted the attention of studios and brands that are driving the entertainment industry in the fields of: movies, series, comics, anime, manga, cosplay, video games, e-sports and content creators leading to to make the event known all over the world.

CCXP is currently one of the brands under Live Experience of Omelete, the largest conglomerate dedicated to pop culture fans in Brazil. The brand reaches over 15 million news-hungry people every month. The Omelete, The Enemy, CCXP, CCXP Awards, Gaules, BIG Festival and Game XP brands are part of the Omelete company.

In addition to growing its audience from 97,000 in 2014 to 280,000 in 2019, the organization also changed its name. Moved from Comic Con Experience to CCXP and has since hosted events outside of Sao Paulo such as CCXP Tour in Recife (PE) and CCXP Cologne in Cologne, Germany to promote the brand internationally.

“The return to face-to-face video in 2022 is very different from the 2019 scenario. Many aspects of pop culture have changed during the pandemic, and new platforms and new streamers have emerged in these years, as in the case of Gaules. Studios also want to reconnect with fans, and the community is looking forward to reuniting as much as we do, because here at CCXP, a fan can be who they want to be,” emphasizes Roberto Fabri, Vice President of Content at CCXP.

A fact that shows the growth of the event is the opening of new spaces on its map, among the newcomers we have Palko Bento in the cosplay universe with content specialized in Asian culture; the Arena podcast, a place where creators can create episodes inside the pavilion; and Magic Market by Mercado Livre, a themed space this year inspired by historic “flea markets” where small retailers will have the opportunity to participate in CCXP.

For Pierre Mantovani, CEO of Omelete, the big difference this year is that the fan will be able to see in detail what the alliance between CCXP, studios and brands can deliver in the form of unforgettable moments. “Each panel, each artist and each stand was the result of great planning, will and work of everyone. I’m sure this year’s event will change the definition of the word epic.

To guide visitors to the São Paulo Expo, CCXP22 also provides the official app of the event. There, the public can explore all destinations of the world’s largest pop culture festival through an interactive map, see all the attractions and customize the experience by choosing what they would like to see at the moment by setting their own schedule. and receive all updates in real time. The app is free to download and is compatible with both Android and iOS systems.

On the CCXP website, fans who were unable to attend the event can view Next’s Palco Omelete content, Arena Podcast, and Tribo Game Arena live, as well as follow the full social media coverage. Exclusively tonight (30), at Spoiler Night, we will have a live stream of Next’s Palco Omelete from 19:00.
