While the game’s supernatural ideas are inspired by one of the weirdest eras in Marvel comics, the new game remains grounded and infuses its excellent tactical combat with strong emotion. Even in dark times, light can still shine – and in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, that light is you and your team of heroes.

With its first new IP since beating Xcom a decade ago, Firaxis has only further solidified its position as arguably the best strategy game developer in the world. In short, Midnight Suns is a must-play game even for those not used to turn-based tactics.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns combines addictive and deep strategic gameplay with characters that make inactive moments just as intense and fun. A lengthy campaign filled with missions and relationships with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes makes Marvel’s Midnight Suns a classic modern strategy game and one of 2022’s biggest surprises.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is an extremely dense hybrid of many different genres and styles, as well as absolutely breathtaking entertainment and one of the best games of 2022.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns lives up to expectations with an enjoyable cast, engaging story, and unique turn-based and card-based gameplay that adds a bit of variety to the game. If not for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, this would be the best Marvel game ever.

A superhero game that teases the brain as much as the heart, with rich strategic mechanics, great storytelling and amazing characters. Aside from a few bugs and visual issues, this is a great tactical RPG.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns exceeded all expectations. It offers a brilliantly rewarding XCOM combat system and a world full of characters you’ll want to know more about.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns shines brightly in a year full of great strategy RPGs, thanks to a genuine love for the license and a huge roster of fantastically realized characters, complemented by a unique card-based combat system… Even if the game contains some redundant content filler, it still interesting and fresh take on Marvel and I can’t wait for more episodes.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns has a number of quirks that are minor on their own but collectively detract from the gameplay. However, despite these quirks, we had a damn good time playing the game. It delivers exactly what we’ve come to expect from a tactical superhero RPG: thrilling combat, great characters, and a huge scale that kept us entertained for a long time. For those who wear Marvel fan glasses, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a great game. But in the end, we are left with a slight feeling that if there were a little more attention and refinement, there could be more.

Midnight Suns is not what I expected, fortunately in a good way.

A storyline that isn’t interesting and fights that are repetitive don’t provide lasting entertainment for Marvel’s Midnight Suns players. However, the game manages to keep you entertained for a while and offers rich content in the form of character interactions that will make fans of Marvel comics and movies shine.
