Stray’s official release date has been announced by developer BlueTwelve Studio.
There was a lot of hype about the upcoming PlayStation Exclusive Stray, in which the player transforms into a little tabby cat tasked with exploring a massive futuristic cyberpunk city while uncovering secrets and searching for a missing family.
Sony announced additional gameplay during its State of Play event, with the official release date set for July 19, 2022. This release date is discussed in more detail in BlueTwelve Studio’s blog post. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The event also revealed that Stray will be available from launch on PlayStation Plus, and “extra” tier users will have instant access to the game.
The blog post states that Streis has a seven-year development period, and the details that went into creating the engaging interactive chat depicted in the post can actually be seen in the gameplay trailers.
