Fortnite raises $144 million in aid to Ukraine

Fortnite has raised $144 million in in-game purchases for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, Epic Games announced on Monday. The funds will be donated to Direct Relief, UNICEF, the United Nations World Food Programme, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and World Central Kitchen.

On March 20, Epic Games announced that it would partner with Xbox and provide all Fortnite proceeds to humanitarian organizations in Ukraine by April 3. The exact distribution of the funds is still unknown, but the money has already been sent – Epic. Games distributed money as they went, sending money until each transaction was fully processed.
