This is not a completely new part, but, as was rumored several months in advance, a remake of the first part of 2001. It already received an annual remaster in 2011, but now this is truly a full-fledged remake, built on Unreal Engine 5. And, as the name suggests, the remake only covers the campaign, not online multiplayer.

The remake is promising according to the description original mission, but with improved level design, cutscenes and of course completely new graphics. But this is not just an improvement, the remake also completely delivers new content. What is, of course, the most interesting thing, the remake will also offer three completely new missions that take place before the events of the main game. As for the overall campaign, you can enjoy it not only in split screen for 2 players (only on consoles), but also in online cooperation for up to 4 players. At the same time, the so-called remix modewhich allows you to experience certain missions a little differently thanks to the randomization of weapons, enemies and environments.

Halo: Campaign Evolved will be released on 2026aiming for PC, Xbox series X|S and for the first time in the history of the series also on a competing platform from Sony, that is PlayStation 5.
