Cooper Carbine has always been a good option for players entering the Caldera or Fortune’s Keep. Despite this, the NZ-41 reigned as the leading meta assault rifle in the Warzone with a pick rate of around 16%. Like the Cooper Carbine, the NZ-41 is a weapon in Call of Duty: Vanguard, but the NZ-41 only appeared in Season 4.
But the meta is constantly changing and now Cooper Carbine may have taken the top spot. In a recent video, popular Warzone player IceManIsaac posted a video revealing that the Cooper Carbine now has a faster kill time than the NZ-41.
IceManIsaac has shown that the Cooper Carbine is a great weapon for duos or solos due to its above average rate of fire. A popular Warzone creator pointed out that technically the NZ-41 has more damage per magazine, but since the Cooper Carbine fires faster, the TTK is much faster. The Cooper Carbine also has slower ADS and muzzle velocity than the NZ-41, but makes up for it with a higher rate of fire and recoil control, making it effective at all ranges and ideal for solos and the duets.

The Cooper Carbine can be paired with almost any secondary vehicle. SMGs like the MP7 work well, even snipers like the 3-Line Rifle can match the Cooper Carbine effectively, it all depends on the player’s playstyle.
