League of Legends developer Riot Games has responded to player reports regarding issues during the Clash event this weekend. Several people participating in the bi-weekly tournament have taken to social media to share their experiences of not starting a game or getting a prize.

On Reddit, user “GiveMeMyOrbs” says he contacted Riot after not getting his first place loot. In response, the developer said tickets for teams affected by the issues are automatically refunded, but earned rewards will not be credited.

Rioter ‘Auberaun’ uses the Reddit thread to add additional context and says some players have received double rewards left alone. Additionally, those who complete their tournament groups but don’t receive any rewards will receive them – Auberaun says the support ticket answer only applies to those who haven’t fully completed the brackets. “We are trying to catch up with what happened this weekend,” they say.

Luckily, for those affected by the issues, Riot is on the case. At the very least, those who are in trouble will be able to participate in the August Zaun Cup without having to use their reserve passes.

While most of us mere mortals will never reach the LoL Worlds stage, Clash is definitely a refreshing and more competitive jolt of our LoL rated games.
