At the same time, the device received other innovations.

This allowed PlayStation Portal owners to play selected games from the PlayStation Plus Premium service via the cloud. Today this feature is also extended to selected games directly from your library. Company representatives say thousands of games support this feature. Unlike in the past, you won’t need a PlayStation 5 to play on PlayStation Portal.

Thanks to this, Sony’s portable device will be closer in functionality to a classic handheld, which will primarily be focus on gaming from the cloud. However, it should be added that an active PlayStation Plus Premium membership will still be required for this feature to be available. A full overview of games that support cloud streaming on PlayStation can be found here.

In addition to this news, PlayStation Portal owners saw the addition of 3D audio support, redesigned user interface or the ability to invite friends to multiplayer. The price of the device in domestic stores is about five thousand crowns.
