Developers from Italian studios Kunos Simulazioni and Supernova Games announced today continuation of the Assetto Corsa series with the subtitle Rally. Already from the title of the recently presented game it is clear that this time we will go from circuit racing, which was the focus of the previous parts of this brand, to the waters of rallying.

At the same time, this genre has recently been negatively affected by the actions of Electronic Arts, which did not support the continuation of the DiRT series and at the same time did not renew the license for official games of the WRC championship. Until now it seemed that at least until 2027, when a license for WRC will move to Nacon, no major rally game will be released. But the announcement of the title Assetto Corsa Rally changes these assumptions.

In addition, the creators of the game announced that they will release the game into the early access program on Steam. this will happen on November 13th this year. The transition to the full version should follow no later than one and a half years after the launch of early access. Following the example of previous works in the Assetto Corsa series, maximum emphasis will be placed on realism, physics and driving model.

Abbreviation full-fledged rally simulatorwhich has the potential to be a sequel to genre icons led by Richard Burns Rally. The initial version of the game will offer 10 cars and four special stages.
