Sony Interactive Entertainment has updated information about its new version. PlayStation PlusIt will be divided into Essential, Extra and Premium. Now we also know what the release date of the service is. In Italy: 22 June 2022.
More precisely, Sony has announced that the new PlayStation Plus will be available for sale. In the world on the following dates:
- Asia (except Japan) – May 23, 2022
- Japan – June 1, 2022
- America – June 13, 2022
- Europe – 22 June 2022
However, we point out that Sony states: “aims” at such dates. Therefore, it is not an absolute certainty. There is always the possibility that technical or organizational issues will force the Japanese company to delay the release of the new version of PlayStation Plus in various regions.
Europe, so Italy will be the last on the list, but we are talking about only a month delay compared to the first publication. Therefore, we won’t have to wait too long before we can access the new service.
We remind you that PlayStation Plus will be split as follows:
- Essential – current version of PS Plus, without changes
- Extras – Adds a catalog of 400 PS4 and PS5 games to the core content
- Premium – access to PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 games (up to 340), limited time trials and cloud play along with all previous bonuses
