At the end of March, Sony announced that it would be launching a new version of PlayStation Plus in June that would be split into three tiers (see our article for more details). The highest also includes access to cloud gaming, but it’s not yet available in many countries, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. But that will change.
Today, Sony updated the initial report and we learned that the ability to play via the cloud will be extended to other countries. These will be Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Cyprus, Romania, Slovenia and, finally, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Sony’s cloud gaming will be available in a total of 30 countries, so the Premium subscription will be the highest. The rest have to settle for the Deluxe version, which is a premium version that is only meant to be played via the cloud.
In addition, we have also confirmed the launch date for the new PS+, which, however, varies by region. The first will be the countries of Asia (except Japan), where players will be seen on May 23, in the Land of the Rising Sun it will be on June 1. In America, the release is scheduled for June 13, and in Europe it will be the last one, June, 22.
The all-new PlayStation Plus launches in June with three flexible membership options.
