The new game, called Project Tower, is aimed at fans of the award-winning game Returnal.

Following the success of the award-winning roguelike Returnal in 2021, it’s likely that some studios will be inspired in some way by the title from the workshops of Finnish studio Housemarque. The final proof is the name game. Project Towerwhich has just been released on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. Behind this indie project is Yummy Games, a studio based in Paris.

The developers themselves describe their new product as a third-person shooter that takes the player into a sci-fi world. The story begins with the alien invasion of Earth by the Hyksos. From a gameplay point of view, the authors propose a combination bullet mechanic and the so-called morphing function itself. The varied options in weapons and enemies are also worth checking out.
