Finally, more than a year after the release of the Frostpunk 2 strategy, the Polish studio 11 bit presented the first paid expansion of the planned three. But in the end, everything is a little different from what the players expected. It doesn’t offer any new story scenario, but rather focuses on the freer Utopia Builder mode.

It will be significantly changed through expansion. Each faction now has its own utopia – its own systems, tools and endgame. There will also be new laws, mushrooms, abilities and quarters for each faction. In addition, the game will receive more than 100 new events and one new map.

The price of the DLC is not yet known, but owners of the Deluxe Edition will have it available for free. At the same time, a closed playtest is currently underway, in which you can register and test the extension until November 3rd. The full version will be released on December 8th on both PC and consoles. For now, you can add it to your Steam wishlist.
