The Game Awards 2024 results

This year Game rewards brought a number of important announcements and previews of upcoming games. However, the presentation of prizes for the best games of the past year continues to be an integral part of the event.

This year, the main prize for the best game of the year went to the platformer Astro Bot from the Japanese studio Team Asobi, which also won in the categories for best director, action-adventure and family game. The games also collected several prizes Metaphor: Refantanzio (best story, art direction and role-playing), Senua Saga: Hellblade II (Best Sound Design, Acting) Balatro (Best Indie Game, Indie Debut and Best Mobile Game).

Chinese game Black Myth: Wukong also managed to score, winning in the action games category. You can see the full results below. Winners are highlighted in bold.
