Firaxis Games studio and publisher 2K Games have pleased fans of strategy games with a new gameplay video from the game. Sid Meier’s Civilization 7this time recorded on the console PlayStation 5. The video shows not only the modified console version of the interface, but also several new features that the expected seventh part of the popular series brings.
The new Civilization retains the proven fundamentals that have long been popular among fans, but adds a number of new elements that develop the game:
Separation of Leaders from Civilizations: For the first time in the series, players can combine any historical leader with different civilizations. This allows new strategies and new combinations to emerge.
Improved administration and policy: Civilization 7 expands on governance, diplomacy, and economics, giving players even greater control over building their empire.
Multiplatform support: The game will feature cross-play, meaning PC and console players will be able to play together.
Console versions will have modified driver interface. The game was created with intuitive controls on consoles in mind. This way, players can enjoy smooth controls without the need for a mouse and keyboard. Plus, in the case of the PS5 version, support for a wireless controller is confirmed. DualSensecreators will take advantage of this gamepad.
Civilization VII will be released on February 11 next year for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Owners of the more expensive edition will be able to play from February 6th.
