Developers from the British studio Rebellion Developments have published the first longer gameplay footage of the upcoming continuation of the Sniper Elite series, subtitled Resistance. It’s over easily 12 minute video in particular, it features a mission called “Hotel Terminus”, in which the main character Harry Hawker, who replaced Karl Fairbairn, is sent to the French city of Fourvières.
Here he is trying infiltrate the local Gestapo headquarters and receive important information. In addition to the series-specific sniper, Hawker cannot do without a pistol with a silencer, at least in this mission.
From the demo it is clear that the authors tried to implement experience in everything in addition to the traditional elimination of enemies at a great distance. traditional stealth mechanicswhich is based on slow advancement and gradual removal of enemies from the immediate vicinity.
