Four studios are involved in development.
In September of this year, Electronic Arts released the first illustration of the upcoming sequel to the Battlefield series. According to new information from renowned journalist and insider Tom Henderson, EA and individual studios are putting great attention, especially at the testing stagewhich is slowly gaining momentum as development progresses.
Henderson talks about the most active testing in the history of the series, which will involve players before the actual release. In terms of the direction of the game, this has been talked about for a long time a return to the style of games like Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. In practice, this should mean a return to battles with a maximum of 64 players, providing a modern battlefield environment.
But it will also have its place single player campaign and other modes. In addition to the series’ regular writers from DICE, other studios such as Motive, Criterion Games and Ripple Effect are expected to take part in the development of the new work.
