The French turn-based RPG will be released next spring.
In June of this year, we saw the announcement of a very interesting turn-based role-playing game, reminiscent of a Western mixture of Persona and Final Fantasy. This is the debut of the French studio Sandfall Interactive, which is called Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The developers have gradually shown more footage of the game and have now come up with a new trailer that reveals two key details.
On the one hand, these are the names of the actors of the main characters, which Sandfall definitely has something to boast about. Renoir was voiced by a famous actor. Andy Serkiswho you may know as Gollum from the Lord of the Rings trilogy or Caesar from the new Planet of the Apes trilogy. Another one here Ben Starr as Versa, most recently best known for playing Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI, or Charlie Cox as Gustav, known as Daredevil’s representative.
Among the female characters here is Mael in the play. Jennifer Englishwho voiced Shadowheart in Baldur’s Gate 3, and Luna, who she played. Kirsty Ryderwho, for example, voiced two characters in the action film Sifu, and finally, in the play we have Ciel. Crazy Knickswith extensive experience working with games. She has voiced characters in games such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo IV, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden or the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077.
That’s all about the cast, but the developers have also announced an estimated release window, which is set to spring 2025so we won’t wait too long. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and will be available on Game Pass from release date.
