The last period has become very fruitful for quality titles. To help you enjoy the latest games at high-quality detail and frame rates, we’ve partnered with GAINWARD, NVIDIA and Alza to develop the unique Zing PC. We selected the components for this computer through mutual discussion with partners, colleagues from Grunex and experts from our sister magazine PCTuning. This involves the collaboration of a number of editors and companies so that we can be sure that you get a car worthy of our name. But now to the computer itself.
Zing PC
When we had the opportunity to create a computer under our magazine’s brand, the first thing we had to do was decide what price point we were going to target. We could create not only a budget set focused on Full HD gaming, but also a high-end machine for a hundred thousand crowns that would look great, but almost no one would buy it. As a result, we took a compromise path – games with high detail, but at the same time with a reasonable price and high-quality components.
The computer image will probably tell you that we chose the color orange, which has long belonged to Zing. We discussed stickers for a long time. We wanted to make the computer at least a little different, and we came up with several ideas. We thought, for example, about a collage of characters from different games. But what if you don’t like Alan Wake or Lara Croft? And then copyrights… In the end, we decided on decent gaming icons that don’t scream at you, but at the same time make the computer a little different.
The front mesh panel may not be the best advertisement for us in photographs, but it looks much better in person and, above all, is functional, namely providing fresh air.
As a result, the Zing logo adorns only two side panels, and in our opinion, this is quite decent. After all, orange itself is a more dominant color. Enough talking about the outside, let’s see what’s inside.
Components and their selection
The selection of components was long and took many weeks. Below you will find selected selected products and their main characteristics. We tried to find a reasonable compromise between high performance, quality and affordable price.
Video card
The heart of this machine is the video card. GAINWARD GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Panther OC 16 GB GDDR6X from our partner GAINWARD. Alza regularly chooses this brand for its model ranges, so it is not only a guarantee of quality, but also a good choice in terms of price-quality ratio.
NVIDIA currently offers not only the best performance in ray tracing, which is very important in this price category, but also DLSS, popular among gamers, be it Super Resolution or Frame Generation. DLSS is the leading upscaling technology on the market, supported by a wide range of games. Competitive gamers will appreciate the NVIDIA Reflex for its reduced responsiveness, and overall, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti offers sufficient performance for QHD gaming with maximum detail, and the computer will not be intimidated even by 4K resolution.
Thanks to the choice of GeForce RTX, the computer can be used not only for games, but also for creative work with professional software, and through the Tensor cores it can also run local artificial intelligence.
CPU
We chose AMD as the processor, namely the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.. AMD 3D V-Cache models currently offer the best gaming performance in this category, which was a key consideration for us. The processor has 8 cores and 16 threads, so it can handle applications that require multi-core performance. Overall, the AM5 platform has long-term support, so you can easily upgrade in a few years.
CPU cooler
I would immediately like to mention the cooler ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III. We chose the 240mm version with A-RGB fans. The choice of this component involves a long discussion. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D will reliably cool even an air cooler that is several hundred cheaper. However, with a final price of around 50,000, we thought the cheap air cooler would be a bit of an embarrassment to the upper mid-range components. Aquarius also opens up opportunities for overclocking and upgrades. And it looks better in the end. We leave it up to you to decide whether our decision was correct.

Liquid Freezer III then attracted our attention mainly due to its positive reviews, affordable price and DRM airflow function. At the same time, this is this year’s model, which has undergone a number of other improvements and provides very good cooling performance.
FRAME
We turned to RAMek 32 GB @ 6000 MHz from Kingston FURY in two-channel version. Here we will just mention that this is an RGB memory, so again you can choose the color or turn it off. Upgrading to double the memory should again be very simple, but 32GB is probably enough for every game and a few bookmarks in Google Chrome.
solid state drive
As SSD we have here Kingston KS3000 with capacity 1 TB. This is an NVMe M.2 drive with PCIe 4.0 interface, theoretical read speed of 7000 MB/s and write speed of 6000 MB/s. For us it was an excellent choice in terms of price-quality ratio.

Motherboard
These components are installed on the motherboard from ASUS. In particular, we chose the model ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI. The Bž50 chipset seemed adequate to us thanks to the processor. The board has a decent number of connectors, including two USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) on the rear panel, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, and the ability to easily flash the BIOS via a USB drive. Built-in wireless connectivity in the form of Wi-Fi 6 will also come in handy.

It does not skimp on the source, so it takes care of the power supply. Corsair RM850e with 80 PLUS Gold certificate. The power of 850 W should be enough even when using more powerful graphics and a processor at the same time. The nice thing about this newer source is that it supports a 12VHPWR header, so there’s no need to step down when connecting graphics.
Cabinet
The entire assembly fits into a cabinet Fractal design Pop Air in RGB Orange Core TG Clear Ting design. We already mentioned the orange one, but we will also add the information that this case has three ARGB fans and space for graphics up to 405 mm in length.
On the top side you will find two USB 3.0 connectors and an audio jack. We certainly lack USB-C or faster USB connectors in general here, but on the other hand this is balanced by the possibility of installing a series of 2.5-inch or even 3.5-inch drives, convenient cable management or dust filters . And a particularly beautiful orange! 🧡
Besides all this, there is no shortage of originals. Windows 11 Homeso just set it up and you’re ready to play.
Tests and price
The advantage of our computer will be that we will be able to test it ourselves and let you know how the computer actually performs and how many frames per second to expect in current games. First, colleagues from PCTuning who have experience in benchmarking and assessing the quality of equipment will take on the computer. On their website you can read the rating of the kit and its overall performance in programs and some games.
In the future, we will test the computer in games on Zing and provide several articles where we will analyze how many FPS can be expected at what settings and resolution.
