Goat Simulator is getting a remaster.
This April marks 10 years since the release of Goat Simulator. What was initially an April Fool’s joke (the game was released on April 1st) soon after its release became an absolute hit, which, despite the minimal development budget, managed to sell over 2.5 million copies.
Therefore, the developers from the Coffee Stain studio bet on humorthe deliberately broken physics and the goat in the main role clearly paid off, because this game in many ways made them famous and secured their future. A sequel, Goat Simulator 3, was released in November 2022.
Now the developers are returning to the imaginary roots of the series with a remaster of the aforementioned first part. It was officially unveiled at Gamescom this year in an unusual trailer. We just found out the exact release date, which was scheduled for November 7th.
On this day, Goat Simulator Remastered will be released on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as on Xbox/PC Game Pass. You can watch the premiere gameplay trailer below.
