Sony is trying to expand its player base PlayStation 5 until a more powerful version becomes available. Convince PS4 owners to trade in their old console for a new one refurbished PS5 at the best price. But the offer is not available in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Refurbished PlayStation 5 consoles are being sold by Sony via PlayStation Direct. But this store is neither here nor in neighboring Poland. Focus mainly on the United States of America and other major markets including Germany or the UK. Sony claims that refurbished consoles are like new. They have been thoroughly cleaned and tested. The warranty on them is 12 months.
What’s the price? In the US, a refurbished PS5 with disc drive retails for $399.99 before taxes. It’s £389.99 in the UK and €449.99 in Europe. The PS5 Digital Edition is currently only available in the US for $349.99.
Sony continues to hold higher prices in euros. We saw a big difference with the PS5 Pro. The more powerful current generation hardware model will hit the market in November/November for $699.99, in the European Union for €799.99. Our price is CZK 20,290.
