Assassin’s Creed Shadows Delayed Until Next Year

Today, Ubisoft announced that the upcoming sequel to the Assassin’s Creed series, titled Shadows, was delayed, initially due out on PC and consoles on November 12. However, according to the developers, they need more time to optimize, tweak some mechanics, and improve the overall experience.

For these reasons, the release date has been postponed to February 14th next yearwhen Assassin’s Creed Shadows comes to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

At the same time, Ubisoft representatives announced that there will be cancellation of all previous pre-orders. In that case, players will of course get their money back. As a bonus to re-ordered pre-orders, Ubisoft will offer the first unspecified expansion for free.

The latest major innovation is Steam version announcementwhere the game ends up being released on the day of release, which was not initially expected.
