The nearly three-minute trailer tells us that the story will be released on September 24. Mortal Kombat 1 into a new era where the world ends and a new dawn of Chaos begins. The video features powerful new fighters and their brutal deaths, as well as a free update that will allow you to transform into an animal.

Free update Animals will bring the Animal Fatality, first introduced in 1995’s Mortal Kombat 3. All fighters will transform into their spirit animals and rip/stomp the opponent before the fatality. Animals such as an alligator, hippopotamus, gorilla, dinosaur skeleton, two wolves, or a scorpion will brutally destroy their opponents.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on September 24.
