Fan-made Half-Life sequel comes to life years later

A group of fans operating under the brand Icebreaker Industries have been preparing an unofficial sequel to the Half-Life series for several years now. The ambitious enterprise, called Project Borealis is intended to be a worthy replacement for the never-completed Half-Life 2 Episode 3, which Valve originally planned to release in 2007.

The authors of Project Borealis first attracted attention in 2019, when they published several pieces of information and materials from an early version of the game. However, the developers subsequently they were silent for more than 4 yearswhich did not bode well.

But this week it happened. First teaser releasedwhich confirms that work on this community game continues. At the same time, the authors stated that they will release a free prologue in the fall. Therefore, fans of the Half-Life series should closely follow this interesting project.
