The cute game from the Lord of the Rings world will not be released this year. Company Weta Workshop announced a postponement Tales of the Shire: The Lord of the Rings Game. The cozy world of hobbits was supposed to welcome those interested in the second half of this year. The developers need more time to realize the vision.
Tales of the Shire is expected to release in early 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
When the game launches, you will create your own hobbit and enjoy life with him in an idyllic village in the Shire. You will fish and garden to share food with your neighbors. Then, customize and upgrade your hobbit hole, where you will find everything you need. You will also be able to trade with the locals and gradually improve your relationship with them. You will also help to unite the community and make Bywater an official hobbit village.
