Sony has continued to increase the price of the DualSense controller in some countries. This is primarily aimed at PlayStation 5 owners, but also works on PC.

A well-known insider with the nickname Wario64 specifically drew attention to price increases in major American chains like Best Buy and Target, where the price has increased from $70 to $75 and even to $80 in rarer color options. Similar price increases have also occurred on the official PlayStation website and in UK retail stores.

However, in other European countries, things are still as usual. In recent weeks, there has also been talk of a gradual increase in the price of the PlayStation 5 console itself in Japan, which has also affected accessories, including the DualSense controller. This could also play a role upcoming launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro consolewhich will happen tomorrow, which we told you about in more detail in a separate news item.
