F1 Manager 2022 offers sophisticated stable controls

We recently received the first screenshots from the upcoming F1 Manager 2022 from Frontier Developments. But others soon appeared, this time from the official Formula 1 website, which published a rather detailed preview.

In addition to the already known information that you will find in our first article about this game, the preview focused on managing the team between races, from this environment we received several screenshots that are strikingly reminiscent of the popular Motorsport Manager of 2016. one big minus compared to the new product is the lack of an official license.

F1 Manager 2022 will offer not only drivers of different categories (F1, F2 and F3), but even real engineers and other team members. In addition to hiring new people to our stable, we will also have to keep a close eye on finances. The budget ceiling, which has been in effect for some time in the real Formula 1, will play an important role.

Our next task will be to develop the car not only before the new season, but also during it. However, the development of new parts will cost time and money, we will even use a wind tunnel. And what’s worse, if we want to put the component on both machines, we have to make a copy.

We also expect a lot of interesting things during the race weekend. We’ll go through a free practice where we’ll try to find the perfect setup, then a qualifying where the riders have to ride the best bike possible, and of course the race itself where it’s crucial to find the perfect strategy and react to it. time until the trace state changes. Tires must be modeled in great detail. Their temperature, dirty air, crossing curbs and other elements must play a role.

The game has to be watched either in 3D mode, where the track will be modeled in detail (see the previous article), or in a less demanding 2.5D mode. And to make it not so quiet, we will be accompanied on the track by a pair of commentators David Croft and Karun Chandhok.

F1 Manager 2022 releases this summer on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
