Polish studio The Farm 51 announced the game today Chernobyl 2: Exclusion Zone. The game’s title already suggests that it is a sequel to the first part, which was released in full on PC and consoles in 2021. The second part will largely build on its predecessor. In terms of genre, it will be a role-playing game with strong survival mechanics, an open world, and a horror atmosphere.

In terms of accommodation, you will be taken on an expedition to contaminated zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The developers are also attracted by the non-linear plot, thoughtful creation or management of your own team and base. Above in the preview you can see the premiere demo, hinting at least partial use of the third-person view.

Chernobyl 2: Exclusion Zone will be released next year on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
