Supermassive Games, which rose to fame in 2015 with the PlayStation exclusive Until Dawn (which, incidentally, is getting a remake this year), has since stuck almost exclusively to the same genre: story-driven horror games that we might call “interactive cinema.”

However, after The Quarry and the first series of The Dark Pictures Anthology, instead of a new world, the British developers decided to expand the existing one and last year announced The Casting of Frank Stone – a story-driven game set in the universe of the popular multiplayer game Dead by Daylight.

After several trailers, we finally got a key piece of information, namely the release date, in a new trailer titled Murder Mill, stylized like retro horror films. The game is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. September 3 this year.

In the game, we take on the role of a group of young filmmakers who go to a seemingly abandoned steel mill. But they don’t yet know what danger awaits them.

As is usually the case in Supermassive games, our decisions will also affect the relationships and fates of individual characters. In addition to carefully designed videos, we will also find typical puzzles and quick events for the genre.
