Depending on the amount of money, the size of your army and the fatigue of individual team members, you will have to decide which missions to undertake. And in what quantities and with whom. For a financial sum, you can gradually add new members to your team, each of whom has their own set of privileges. While one of them is great for stealth and is not so noticeable in illegal activities, another will attract attention, but with the advantage that he will not just kneel during a possible shootout. And then there is Travis Baker himself, whom you can also take on a mission. Thanks to this, you will ultimately receive a large amount of money. But if he dies, the entire campaign is over.
However, choosing missions is not just about finding the ones that will give you the most potential money. Such missions are usually longer and more demanding.. And this with the risk that the initially quiet process will go awry. Either by accidentally ambushing another gang, or Sheriff Norris will learn of your actions and be ready for you. God willing, even with special robots that appeared in a recent game update.
As such, the game’s campaign is primarily based on thinking about who to go where with, what to save for the next few days, how many army members to devote to individual efforts to conquer new territories, and other such game mechanics. which adds a whole new level to the “heist gameplay” compared to Payday.
